SHAPE Architecture is an award-winning architectural practice of architects and designers located in the heart of Vancouver. The firm was founded on the belief that our work as architects is central to creating an engaging, humane, and sustainable future in the built environment. Our studio culture is based on the pursuit of excellence, focusing on enriching our communities through the architectural expression of public institutions, housing, and larger scale urban mixed-use projects.

What is it like to work at SHAPE Architecture?

Our diverse team brings a lot of passion and perspective into the design process. At SHAPE Architecture, we advocate an open and collaborative environment because we believe every voice matters, and sharing our thoughts, experiences and viewpoints brings forth new ideas. Beyond engaging with our staff, we actively engage with the public, as this is how we find the best designs get shaped and formed.

At SHAPE Architecture, your time here is important to us. We want to learn about your career goals and definition of success so that we can provide mentorship, continuing education and professional development opportunities to help you get there.

Much like our design process, we find ways to adapt when things change. In addition to the support and mentorship we provide for one another, we offer generous paid-time off, health benefits, flexibility and work-life balance. Our office has also implemented a hybrid-work model, with three days in-office, and two days remote.
