Over the past year, SHAPE Architecture has participated in the redevelopment of Lakeview Church + Housing at the corner of Semlin Drive and East 12th Avenue. The new 8,250 sq. m. building will be one of our office’s first designs built to Passive House standards. The project will include a new church with multipurpose gathering spaces on the ground level, as well as 104 residential units above—of which approximately 30% will be permanently secured as affordable housing.
